Zidi the Band held their much awaited concert dubbed Kivuli on Sat 2nd August 2008 at the August 7th Memorial Park in Nairobi. Starting almost an hour later than expected, the wait was well worth it judging from the large crowd that turned up for the concert. Krystin Ndela and Webi were the special guests invited to curtain raise for the band and did a few jams to a crowd applause.

Zidi the band with their afro-fusion sound and terrific vocalists performed several singles to the crowd's delight including the chart-topping Breathe (Listen to the single in their profile in the artists section of the site) Chizi, S.K Blue and Astar were spontaneously called up to the stage and they did some freestyle with the help of the band.

Zidi plans to be doing concerts every two months. KenyanGospel.com will definitely keep you updated with the group’s endeavors.
