Was Raila chosen to give history of John F. Kennedy and his contributions to Africa or Making Democracy work in Africa? He has named several people who participated or acted to enhance killing of many innocent people, does he and Kibaki add to the list? Because due to these two Kenyans fought and slaughtered each other.
Him, Raila has been in government during two regimes and in the opposition what are his contribution to improve democracy? Hasn\\\'t he himself be hungry for power and selfish where he has been incorporated with those hindering democracy?
He has done little as expected of him.

I used to despise this man but in the past few months he has proved me wrong in all fronts and i wish i could rewind time, i could have voted for him with all that i have. here is a man who is willing to sacrifice everything he has worked for and built to save MAU forest, how many politicians can do that in KENYA? i truly admire him and all that he has done especially the way he markets kenya abroad. this same country has tortured, detained and does annythng it can think of to silence him, but evrytime, he rises above the previous level. i gues some things were meant to beKudos RAILA AMOLO

These are our kenyan leaders and they deserve our support. Why do they give people hope and end up not fulfiling their promises? My generation knows no race or dicrimination, and they will exploit us as they did to our fathers. Their legime is gone-thirst for power, careless spending of public funds and so on. The current government has been there before our birth, but little have they done to improve kenyans lives

One of the harvard audiences should have asked him why he and his right hand man started genocide and ethnic cleansing. He is the epitome of the evil that has curbed Africa. I wish i was there i would stand up and ask him why he is so evil.

it is people like you who post lies and shut tribal hatred.. now do you want to be reminded who gave the orders for the police to shoot innocent Kenyans dead?? the whole world watched in shock.. and genocide was started by the seem individual who had the control of the police, army and mungiki murderous thugs from central province.. next time do your homework before posting here lies..

A well lie repeated by ODM never becomes the truth. There is Kreigler report, Waki report and KHNCR report. Fact is Genocide and ethnic cleansing was started in ODM strongholds. Other areas were relatively peaceful. I can show you a video by Raila defending the people carrying genocide as fighters for democracy. Infact Raila advocated the release of the perpetrators without condition that is why nobody has been convicted. Show me a government that would not kill a group of people hell bent on killing another group because of hate and I will show you a liar. Was the government to forceful yes b

Was the government supposed to negotiate with a rapist, child killers and other people destroying property and lynching innocent women and kids?

Odinga said it quite well. He said let forget about the past, and think about the future. Obviosuly some folks didb\\\'t get this i.e Njau, Nderi and Mutegi.

Please lets talk about ISSUES for once. The question is how can we help our country? Lets talks about IDEAS, not past events like the 2007 violence.

This Odinga guy is the best shot that Kenya has at realizing its dream. This is slowly becoming a fact.

A true leader. Kenya needs more like him if we are ever to shun tribalism and move from a third world state category. He definately has my vote should he decide to run for president again.

Raila is all comedy and a tactles dreamer. He wants to cut a niche for himself as a world great but he should know to climb a tree you have to start from the bottom not top. Secondly he has theories and no realistic ways of archieving his goals. His fave phrase that all kenya needs is infrastructure is now worn thin as we need food and security as the basic minimum before anything else but unfortunately his goverment has failed dismally there.Lastly can the not so eloquent PM address himself to matters pertaining to Kenya and let the rest of Africa sort itself without poking his nose all over.

Just like someone just said, if only i could rewind the arms of time, agwambo would have my vote. i have now bought his idea and standing. my brothers lets not hate him. In banana, i thinks its only me and my dad

Ngogoyo:
The dude started from the very bottom. Get your facts right. Kindly also revisit the topic of discussion. It was on matters pertaining to Africa, and not Kenya. Now try and beat that.

Tony Onyango:
I agree with you. The dude needs to go back to school for English 101. Maybe he wants to be noticed.

If we want to see Kenya, or Africa go places it has to start with the wanainchi themselves, it doesn\\\'t matter who sit on the presidential seat, people will never be pleased and stop at that and so, Kenya\\\'s faliar is not on the leaders its on the common people who have taken to tribalism, and embracing corruption and such. So it has to start with you, you, and yes, you! Raila is just doing what he knows best! and for you all instead of chit chatting, what are u doing for the sake of the country and or the continent? hmm???

Mr Odinga is not the most honest of persons. In his desperate quest for political power he sanitised war mongers in exchange for their support (Ruto, Ntimama). His condemnation of corruption is pure grandstanding - with the likes of Kosgey in his side of government. He insinuates imprisonment qualifies him for leadership forgetting despots in history have had a rich history of detention including Mugabe, Hitler etc. He talks of ethnicity but run a the most divisive campaign - slogan was 41 against 1. He betrays an ethnic vision - generalises the saving cultureof 1 jew to the group. Suave talk.

Raila has become apolitical enigma in the whole of Africa and people like Ngogoyo should know that their is change. Is not wakina Ngongoyo who who rigged the election. Pliz lets give credit where its due, without Raila Kenya could have been nowhere.Agwambo has left alegacy in this counry and has brouhgt democracy that both the old and young forks have longed for.

Amazing that some of you think that Raila has changed to be the man he has always been. He supported the killings and defended the killers themselves. Is there a reason why some kIKUYUS are in the IDP\\\'s while others who displaced them are occupying their land and homes? What makes Raila a visionary leader and Moi a bad one like he puts it. Raila has to be blamed for all that happened. Just to let you know Kenya will survive without this man. Why can\\\'t he keep the eyes on the ball? Talk about the Kenyas story without being all over the page. Raila will never be President and mark my words pple

Hon. Raila, you tha face of Kenya, now we spend 4 hours everyday in traffic jams at the times we should be building kenya, at 70 years, I will have spent 19 years just on traffic jam, your vision is the best any leader can give, I will support you and work for the realization of a better kenya, we waited 40 years for KANU to go, 5 years is nothing Hon. Raila, lets wait, your time will come.

Kamande:
I have every reason to believe that you and the likes of you are the very reason Kenya cannot develop as fast as it should; you spend so much time hating on individuals and wishing for their failure instead of thinking of ways of tackling real issues stiffling development. Surely such a frame of mind never added up to any good and infact i should be so bold to say that such are the breeding grounds for tribalism and those other monsters that are threatening to tear our country apart. Hon. Raila needs no defending as his record speaks for itself.

Whatever things we say about others reflects our mind set more than they do those we speak against, for at the end of the day we will be judged by actions and intentions based on ourselves not on others. What are we doing at individual level to help get the leadership straight? Are we staright ourselves or do we demand what we ourselves cannot give? Raila has done his part, good or bad. We need to ask our selves what part are we playing? Is it the tribal card or the patriotic card? Can we support KKK and other tribal alliances and blame the elite? Can we support "our man" and blame any leader? Any luo can support Raila , kikuyu can support uhuru, but if it is because of tribe, then we are cheating ourselves

Tribe is a fact of life and should not be swept under the table. You remember the twelve tribes of Israel? You also remember that God divide the languages of the people at the tower of Babel? If we want to succeed, we must not deny that we come from differnt tribes, infact, Nations! We must only remember that this difference is complementatry and not mutually exclusive. There is a value that a Kikuyu brings to Kenya and there is a value that a Luo, or a Kamba or a Kalenjin or a Luhya and all the other tribes, bring to Kenya. Rember that Jacob blessed his children and mentioned some of the roles and stregnths they all had in Genesis 49. The truth is that we all have weaknesses but we cannot capitalise on our weaknesses. We should look for our strengths and build on them. If anyone wants to hate another, there are many reasons to do that. Likewise, if anyone wants to love another.
