NAIROBI Mon 25 Feb 2008 - The K-Krew threw down what we can confidently say is the biggest Christian gig in Kenya. Totally Sold Out (TSO) Volume 3 was held on Sunday 24th Feb 2008 at Nairobi Pentecostal Church (NPC), Valley Road. It lived up to its name as being totally sold out as 7,000 tickets to the event ran out. The crowd was so big that one hour after the gig started there was still a queue from the gate all the way to Valley Road. Inside NPC's main sanctuary was a live concert while Club Xpressions, a pure DJ session was going on in the next building in the church compound. They were running simultaneously and they were both full to capacity. The sound system threatened to dampen the mood but the problem was rectified and the show went on. The backstage was a beehive of activity as artistes bonded and caught up. The extended guest list included V.U.C, Zaidi ya Mziki, Mercy Masika, Hip-Hope, Rachel, Wernono Crew, M.O.G, Daddy Owen, Kanjii and the Mavuno Worship Team among many others. K-Krew's DJ Soxxy and DJ Johnny Celeb held it down at Club Xpressions. The performances were full of energy and by the crowd's reaction it was quite evident that people had long waited for such a gig. We also spotted DJ Kev, Arthur K (NTV Producer - The Stomp), R-Kay, Big Tedd among other industry players.
