SING AFRICA CD LAUNCH RECAP |

Daystar University based Sing Africa launched their third CD on Saturday 4th October 2008 at the Nairobi Baptist Church's Old Sanctuary. There were various artists lined up including Haimie who performed her Ethiopian song and Thank You God. Sing Africa opening was a well choreographed African dance. They then followed with We are one and Holy Holy. Worship leader Rebekah Dawn, followed with her Dance song Battle is for God accompained by her City Lights dancers and closed out with the Swahili jam Milele.

Daystar's Zidi the Band were next up with the ever popular Breath. Blaze Winners chapel own dance group rocked the pondium with a DJ mix. Oscar and Luka did jazz like a thing with Oscar playing the Bass and Luka on two drums. David joined them later on the set.

In the next session, Sing Africa were back on stage this time doing it swahili with Uhimidiwe. Wambura Mitaru and Rebekah also came back with new jams as Himie closed the session (again) with Nashukuru. Sing Africa's (and AFLEWO) founder Timothy Kaberia talked about Sing Africa and then invited Pastor Tom Otieno, who was in the first Sing Africa in 1996 to bless the current group. D.C.F (Daystar Christian Fellowship) dancers also performed later at the nearly exclusive Daystar affair.
