ATLANTA - Refill 2010 was one of the most memorable events of the year and was held at the KACC (Kenyan American Community Church) in Marietta, GA from the 23rd - 25th July 2010. In a nutshell, the conference consists of a powerful revival service, meant to refill the attendants spiritually, a powerful full musical and drama concert, driven by gospel DJs, dancers, and Musicians, a workshop, and a sports (physical) session. States represented included North Carolina, Indiana, Massachusetts, Maryland, Delaware, New York and hosts Atlanta among others. Also gracing the occasion was K-Krew's Njugush who is currently in the US. The event was broadcast live on this site.
The event which started on Friday 7:00 p.m with dinner which was followed by Praise and Worship led by Carol Mbithi. Host Pastor G.G Gitahi (of KACC) gave a short message for the evening. At about 10 o'clock the concert kicked off with the crowd of about 300 on its feet as DJ Jey and the Emcee for the night Kiash opened with the popular Zing Zing Dance. Mr Sam then took to the stage with the first performance followed by Kiki, Ms Jay, Sharon, Carol Mbithi, Kamnao, Gods replicah, Gospel Revivers, The Musters, Winners Circle and the KACC Dance team who all kept the crowd asking for more. There was then a short dance session led by DJ Jey while the excited crowd was promised Friday was just a small taste of things to happen the next day. Saturday morning session kicked off with praise and worship which was followed by three performances that got the crowd ready to receive the word from Rev G. After a short break, Apostle Lucy Muthami performed two songs from her album and shared the Word. The afternoon session was a workshop where people got to ask questions and receive answers from panelists. The evening concert was the climax of the whole conference. The crowd of more than 400 people was eager to party as Carol Mbithi led praise and worship before introducing Kiki who was the Emcee for the night. DJ Jey, DJ Papa Maish, and DJ Huski all took turns at the decks and got the crowd on their seats. For the next 2 hours, there was a serious session of back-to-back performances and DJ music. There perfomances were from Carol Mbithi, Chosen Boy, JG, Kiki, Ms Jay, Gospel Revivers, Sharon, Covenant Sistaz, Chasemode, D Kamaa, Mr Sam, SG Productions, The Musterz, and many more as newly crowned Best Artist at the 2010 Talanta Awards Kenn aka Mr Bonified ended the performnaces. The even ended at around 1 a.m with most people losing their voices from all the shouting. Refill 2010 was organized by The Musters in partnership with KACC church in Marietta Georgia.
