Website Redesign
Happy New Year everyone! With the new year brings new changes and this site is no exception. We have revamped some parts, done away with others and brought in new sections. We have redesigned the Video page, brought in a Highlight section, added BBC and Capital FM news in addition to Nation and The Standard and changed our Music Central. We'll start with the homepage. We have just added a new section called "Highlights". We realized that alot of items and news stories don't make it to the site. This is where we will be posting short news stories or articles. They will be no more than a paragraph and will be anything from news items to artist links for exclusive music to continuing updates or developments of stories we're following. This is also where you will get raw breaking news before it lands on the main News page. We will also be throwing in interesting pages that we find on the web.
Videos tab
On our "Videos" page, we have loaded all our music videos from our YouTube channel and put them up in an easy to view format. Forget clicking numerous pages just to find a video. This single page has everything you need and more. Just scroll through to find a video, click on the thumbnail and you instantly watch the video on the same player. There is also a maximize option where the whole player fills your screen and you can easily watch hundreds of videos without any interrution. Click on the "Newest Addition" tab to find the new additions to the video page or just click the "Kenyan urban" tab for past videos. Remember to subscribe to our YouTube channel to get the latest videos. The channel is now approaching 2 million views.
Local news on the site
The "Kenya" page is where you find political news and information in real time from The Daily Nation and The Standard. We've added news from Capital FM News and the BBC. We've narrowed down the news from the BBC to only include Kenyan related news. AllAfrica.com also provides us with news items from The Nation and Standard which at times are not posted on the Nation or Standard websites. This page is updated instantly whenever any news organization posts a story on their site. The latest news items are always on top of the page.

The Music Central section on the front page has also been changed up and will now include upcoming artists. If you want your music featured on the section, email your track to music@kenyangospel.com and include a short bio and pic of yourself / band.

We also have the "Blogs" page that has been on the site for some time. It features the latest news from other gospel sites and blogs in the US. If you have a blog and want your content featured on the site, email us blogs@kenyangospel.com.

As for our sister site www.kenyandownloads.com, there are now over 400 registered listeners with new people registering practically everyday. We also have over 100 artists that have signed up. Visit the site and download music from your favourite gospel artist.
