Daddy Owen has booked gospel superstars Mary Mary for his Utamu Wa Maisha DVD launch in March 2012. The duo was scheduled to perform at his CD launch in December this year but postponed it to March 2012 as one of the singers, Erica Campbell is due to have a baby. Daddy Owen has then split his CD/DVD launch to have the CD launch in December and the DVD launch in March. 

Mary Mary burst into the spotlight with their break-out hit Shackles (Praise You) in 2000 and have been on an upward spiral ever since. They have recently embarked on the "Have a Mary Mary Christmas Tour" and are also judges on the BET gospel talent show Sunday Best.

Daddy Owen's CD launch is scheduled for this Jamhuri Day (12 December 2011) at the KICC Plenary Hall. Performing at the launch are Juliani, Jimmie Gait, BMF, Mr Seed, Dunco, Emmy Kosgey, Alemba, Ngashville, Kris Eeh Baba, Simbo, Fidel as well and of course his brother Rufftone.
