 BMF at Mad Love Lounge

The April edition of the Mad Love Lounge event was held on Sunday April 27th 2008. This time around, the venue was moved from the Hurlingham area to Westlands at Bandari Plaza (M2) opposite Cooked Q. There were a number of Christian MCs in the house including Groove Award Nominees Holy Dave, Rachel-the group and BMF as well as DJ Octave, DJ Shock and DJ GG. Even DJ Sparrxx, Hip Hope's official DJ came through as did Michelle, Bupe and Dee. Food and soft drinks flowed freely as everyone exchanged pleasantries. Rachel performed their hits including the new one Kigoco. BMF put down their dance skills and showed their rhyming prowess as Holy Dave also took to the mic. We also spotted event organizer Addvoket mingling with the crowd as other new artists did their thing. DJ Octave and DJ GG kept revellers entertained all afternoon dropping some serious hip hop. Attendance looked impressive and we hope it won't be long before organizers put up the next event. Mad Love Lounge started in October 2007 and is a spot where Christians can hang out on Sundays and enjoy some gospel hip hop, spoken word, break dance, DJ mixes in a club-like atmosphere.
