KENYAN ARTISTS TO TOUR U.S.A |

Several Kenyan gospel artists are set to tour the U.S this summer. Zaidi ya Mziki, fresh off their tour last summer make a return for another round of shows all over the U.S. The 5 man team made up of Lena, Ken, Kera, Kabbz and Samu arrive in the U.S on Thursday 22nd May 2008 and will be joined by Badilika DJs' own DJ Jey. Maximum Melodies are also expected to make a come back to the U.S in August 2008 for a series of tours in the U.S. Another artist expected for the summer will be Ringtone who will be joined by Silk. Ringtone and Silk's dad tell KenyanGospel.com that they expect to perform in Massachusetts, Rhode Island and other states around the U.S. Several artists including the Hip Hope crew (Juliani, Astar, Michelle and Rigga), KiKi, Kamau Karongo, Neema and Mfalme are also nominated for the inaugural Talanta Awards and have also been invited to travel to North Carolina for the ceremony. Zaidi ya Mziki are set to perform at the TWEM conference with Evangelist Teresia Wairimu in Dallas, TX on Saturday 24th May 2008. Also flying in from Kenya will be radio personality Tina Nzuki who will MC the gig. Click here for more details on this gig. ZYM are also billed to perform at KCFA Baltimore's 10th anniversary on 13-15 June 2008. They are the main artistes invited at the 18th Annual KCFA (Kenya Christian Fellowship in America) conference at the James Madison University in Virginia. Also present at the conference that attracts over 1000 Kenyans around the U.S will be Rev J.B Masinde and Atlanta's Apostle David Karanja among others. There will also be a parallel youth conference and unlike previous years where it has always be held from Friday to Monday, the conference this year will be held from Thursday 3rd July to Sunday 6th July 2008.
