Quarryville, PA - The singles department of KCFA (Kenya Christian Fellowship in America) held their annual retreat at the Black Rock Retreat Center in Quarryville, PA on the weekend of the 13th-15th of March, 2009. The theme of the conference was based on Isaiah 43:19: “Behold I do a new thing …”Those that attended came from as far as Colorado, Connecticut, Georgia, Indiana, Maryland, Massachusetts, New Jersey, North Carolina, Ohio, Pennsylvania, Rhode Island, and Texas.
The keynote speaker was Minister Tyrone Thompson of Union Baptist Temple in Bridgeton, NJ. Others were Revs. Peter and Anne Osano of Silversprings, MD, Stella Standifer of Philadelphia, PA and Priscillah Mushi of Chelsea, MA. The three day event was characterized by powerful personal testimonies, great Bible exposition, and intimate times of worship and ministry.
For the 17th year in a row, the KCFA annual conference will be held on the 4th of July Weekend (US Independence day) at the James Madison University in Virginia.
