After a long hiatus, Kubamba Krew's (K-Krew) all-night christian jam session called the K-Rave was back on the 28th of November 2008. Held at The Zone in Westlands, the event was eagerly awaited by the many fans and ex-candidates who wanted to dance the night away. The DJs for the night were Sanch, Soxxy, Johni Celeb and Moz. First on the decks was DJ Sanch who kept the crowd moving with some old school tracks that left the crowd longing for more. The massive sound equipment and excellent lighting made the event much more exciting. DJ Soxxy was next and he didn’t disappoint with his local mixes followed by Johni Celeb who played some serious hip hop tracks and the crowd loved every bit. DJ Moz finally checked into the venue and he did his thing and also took time to share some scripture.

Performances from artistes added to the equation and included M.O.G, Mr. Vee, Holy Dave, New Move, Juliani (was also MC'd the DJ sessions), Crusaders and Trinity Brothers. Saints and Dice dance groups capped off the event with some well choreographed moves. With most spotting "yu" t-shirts, the rave was sponsored by Econet Wireless under their ‘yu’ brand. Like most overnight gigs, the rave ended at 5am.
