NAIROBI - Dance group Igniterz held their much publicized musical christened "The Greatest Story Ever Told" at the PCEA Kahawa Farmers Church on Sun 23rd August 2009. Moving from their dance comfort zone, they incorporated song and acting as they shared the gospel in a contemporary setting of everyday life. Spicying up the event were artists Daddy Owen, M.O.G, Sarah Mitaru(Girls Go Gospel), Blackman and the Band, Calisto (HolyGan), Kasera (HolyGan), 3:16 (Winners of KTN's Can You Dance), Kriss(Eeh Baba), The Saintz, Alice Kamande, Karena (Producer Sakata Media), DJs Sanch and Johnny Celeb and Njugush (Power Radio 91.1FM).

Igniterz opened up the show with a dance as DJ Sanch glazed the decks. Thereafter, curtain raisers lined up the stage starting with Calisto and Kasera in a collaboration. Sarah Mitaru and her hubby Producer Blackman led a live band in singing The Lord's My Shepherd. Dance group 3:16 showed some tight moves giving way to Sakata crooner Kriss who did his new jam Macho as well as Eeh Baba.

After John Hinga awarded a lucky attendee a 50% scholarship to the Badilika School of DJing, the Greatest Story Ever Told premiered. The play was a mix of a love story as well as choices that we have to make in life. At the end of it all, the choice to follow Christ, who has the greatest story ever told was evident. The play ended with Alice Kamande and Igniterz doing her song Hakuna.

Performances were not done as Daddy Owen electrified the audience with some Kapungala followed by M.O.G complete their album launch T-shirts. They brought the curtain down to a packed house and proceeds of the event will help in new talent in recording music and production of plays for those involved in theatrics.
