NAIROBI: Groove Party 2011 was a live telecast held to usher in the new year 2012. The show was broadcast live on KTN with invited artists performing at the KTN studios. The list included Daddy Owen, Juliani, M.O.G, B.M.F, Mbuvi, Kambua, Eko Dydda, Mercy Masika, Emmy Kosgei, DK, Nico, Ben Githae among others backed by Aaron Rimbui and his band. MCs for the night were Kambua, Astar and Alemba.

Groove Party has previously been held at the KICC and has always been open to the public. This time around, the public event was cancelled due to security concerns The event is organized by Mo Sound Entertainment.
