The obvious reason we think Juliani will scoop most of the awards is because he has been consistent in releasing music throughout the year. Add his killer lyrics, recent album drop and massive following from everyone in most age groups and social class and you see why. Asking fans to vote for one through sms email or online facebook groups will also increase some peoples chances of winning. Artists we see being helped on facebook include Marion Shako (with about 15,000 fans) as well as Hey-Z, producer Gittx, Mbuvi and Kambua's collabo and Fred Obare.

Njugush will win radio presenter of the Year because he also has a massive following and captures Hope FM, Homeboyz Radio and Power Radio fans. Mombasa based DJ Lenium can also pull a suprise upset for Njugush as he mobilizes Baraka FM listeners as well as his online facebook site. DJ of the Year will most definitely go to DJ Krowbar mainly because of the Mfalme National DJ competition win, though we'd have loved to see at least DJ Soxxy win. Also in the Producer of the year category, Gittx will win because of the online buzz he is creating. Dr Eddie has also created some online buzz besides creating Daddy Owen's big Kapungala song but we guess people have not heard alot from him. Besides, his name is mispelt as Dr Eli and that really hurts his chances.

It was very difficult deciding on Song of the Year as all nominees are serious contenders and this can go either way. We have to admit we guessed on the Ugandan category while for the Tanzanian one, we just chose who we knew. Dance Group of the Year is also very competitive and we think it will go down to who can mobilize most supporters to vote for them. With a mad following of the K-Krew especially for those who would potentially cast votes, CrossOver 101 will definitely take TV show of the Year.

As we stated earlier, these are just predictions and the actual results will be availed at the event on May 2nd. Let the conversation not end and tell us who you think will win.

Very bad Taste... I think if you are going to be credible you need to stay unbiased. that is very cheap. it makes this website look very biased towards certain artists. Why dont you let the awards happen then give us your opinions then. Seems like someone has influenced your voting. Who gives you the right to decide? I like your site, but ai...that is a bad decision. And especially if, as you have claimed, you are co-sponsors. Very poor judgement.

i agree with maryanne's point. This says all the wrong things. i love kenyanGospel, lakini this is trying to influence the vote. There's still a whole week to go before the awards. Even for big awards here, only gossip websites say such things.

Agreed. If kweli you are sponsors, then this is very bad. makes groove look predetermined.

Wsup people. I've been nominated in category 11, 15 and 16. I'd really appreciate ur votes. My song is sort of like the under dog or non contender with only an outside chance against the more established artistes but lets give it a shot and see how far we can go. Vote for "Tazama" online under the categories I've mentioned. The codes are 11 E 15 E and 16 D. God bless y'all and remember win or lose, the gospel must still be preached. God bless u fam.

Fresh, a bad move for real. most of the public have no idea about some of the categories and this of course influences alot since they do not have to search for themselves. This site is my no. 1 site but you have let me down. Lakini wewe ni wa nguvu as always, its just the move.......not wise in my opinion. Cheers!!!

Relax people. We are predicting. PREDICTING. Firstly, as sponsors, we do not have a say in what YOU will vote. Secondly, voting is not done on this website so we could not tweak the results even if we wanted. Thirdly, we have done this before - last year. THESE ARE THE ARTISTS WE FEEL CAN WIN THE AWARDS. Do we feel that these predicted deserve the award? NO. Infact, as you know, no matter how good an artist is, if YOU do not vote for them, they will not win. Read the reasons for us choosing the said artists. We will then compare our prediction with the results and see how many we got right.

Consider this like the General Elections where Steadman comes out with opinion polls. As a website, we feel will make you feel even more eager to cast your vote to ensure your favourite artist wins. Remember you can cast a vote every 24 hours. Keep voting.

I see we were not the only ones who have made predictions for the awards. Check out the two page spread on Buzz magazine or read it online here http://www.nation.co.ke/magazines/buzz/- /441236/590948/-/hrhwb3z/-/index.html

vita ni za nini......can\\\'t we all just get along!? But my question is, should Christian artists be contending for awards? As in......Malipo, nilidhani, ni ya Mbinguni?
at Mon, 27 Apr 2009 17:3814   by Alllie
i agree with the guys saying that the predictions are coming a liitle soon..u guys would have nothin to loose if u posted them after the voting..to some extent this does affect voting.. i already voted but goin thro ur list i thot otherwise about some categories..so think about someone who has not voted..they would be tempeted to base their votes on your opinion...its a positive thing but wrong timing..owise keep doing Gods work..He who began a good work in you will bring it to completion.

are we one day going to have best pastor, prophet, evangelist, etc categories? Coz they are ministers of the gospel just as much as the music artists. ni maswali tu nina uliza......someone help me out!!!

I agree with the rest of the people who voiced concern over your predictions. Why would you do that? this not only biases the people voting, but as someone rightly pointed out, makes the whole thing look predetermined. Please include this on your \\\'\\\'improvement list\\\'\\\' next year.

Other than that, good job guys! Cheers!

I have no problem with the predictions. Infact I think it makes me want to vote more since some of my artists are not in red. wasn\\\'t it the point of this predictions?

Stand and be counted
ye son of the Almighty,
all of you,Bantu or nilote
Please take note
that you can look to the Father,
Who you can now call Daddy or Papa and ask Him to order your Gait,
He knows you 'cry kwa crisis' feeling helpless sometimes
but you are 'just a man'
so just keep praising with much Rigor
because only He can!

Oh daughter of Zion,
This may not be the Emmy's
but you still mean the world to Me!
I've heard your cry that 'Unatamani kuwa nami'
That unaomba 'nikushikile':
I want you to know that I do hold you,
And my Mercy is new each day,
I'll always shower you with Neema...

So in all your Endeavors,Ruth, keep bringing all the Ngatho to me
And you'll be Ok.

For such a time as this,
Have you been appointed to come to light,
And like gold through the fire,
Truly beautiful will you come out to be,
As long as you stick to the basics,
from A,B(MF) to C(abasssa),
Through (haimi)E all through to (hey) Z
as You stay in Lin(e)
And live like free Willy
Coz in me you are truly free!!

The variety is what you bring,
Sounds that suit the white, brown and even the Blackman,
Like a Dr. you invent wonderful Rhymes with Xtra feel
To make all Sakata to music of life;...
at Thu, 30 Apr 2009 21:4521   by Alfie
So whatever style you make,
As long as it's life music,
They R all o-Kay with me!

It's said Christ was a DJ
As turned the tables at the temple
Now you take up the call
By doing that in music..
Using Christ's blood like lenium
to purge man's sins
And using the gospel as a Krowbar,
To unravel the deceiver's schemes,
Splitting the lies like Moses,Nev(s)er relenting
In your Sanch-tified pursuit
To hit a home run for the Kingdom like players of the white Soxx-y!

Thanks to you all,
we get Hope in a wretched time,
Baraka when we need it
Despite being undeserving ka-ME na ME,

Always reminding us of the message of John 3:16
As the core source of our being and Power!
In One Voice you guide the lost to Crossover to the light,
To Shake off satan's dust and be Off The devil's Hook,
You Activate them to Stomp on his evil plans
and now they are Jamming waki-Shangilia wokovu wao ndani ya Mwamba!

Like Aaron in aid of Moses,
You prove that with me you are not 'Just a man'
Coz the Rock of Ages is your foundation
Now your praises in United Voices fill the Blue SK-ies
And for that,nita-Zidi kuwabless

I'm blessed to know that you find strength
kwa 'Jina la Yesu' na unanipa 'kile unacho';
That your heart inani-tamani means that
you will 'Never be the same' because nimekusamehe
Na nita kutembelea na uwepo wangu!

You are my children
And you therefore D-serve to be treated like royalty
But let your Melodies rise to the maximum of heights
For as Men Of God(MOG) that's your vocation
And through you a New Move will be sparked!
But remember to be like a Rachel;
walking in humility
and Zidi to serve in integrity

The spirit in you
Revealed that your biceps
cannot handle the evil one coz you are just a man
So you had to let him go lest you got into muhadhara!
Now you randaranda spreading this good news to all-
the young and even wazee wetu!

Whoever said that God's ipod doesnt have the boom bap music?!
Coz I feel hear your cries in crisis in your hip hop,
As yo

And now you aint going Out Tonight coz you've found a new home
And una-Tazama The Toungue coz you want to speak life.

What I'm getting from you is just wonderful!
That I'm your Ebenezer and that 'Kama sio mimi'
You wouldn't get the 'Motisha'
To embrace the 'The Awakening' to be delivered
from the consequences that come with the Stories
that sprout from man's Mtaa Mentality!

I can't forget to remember
You who stay true true your roots
For you truly exhibit My design for diversity
As you seek to tell of the holy trinity
In the dialect that I dispensed to you
And with them you return the praises back to Me:
would I ask for anything more?!!

Wah Gwan ma yout,
ya call me Jah as in Psalms 68:4 in de King James Version,
ye serve de people of God like you'z a waiter,
Chanting a prayer in your Christain boots
Calling down Gospel Fire/Fire burn pon the devil

I see you are trying to control The Tongue
But you still Don't Know what next will come
To try and make you stumble coz
You are still Just a Man..
But I implore you to Tazama the Mwanga
He'll show you the way to be a winner!!

Using spiritual Biceps,Minyororo had to be broken
And now like the flag on the M...Island
the Righteous Kingdom's Kivevelo is flying high
Endelea Kuni-Tazama sababu nina Kupenda
Na sifungi macho hata gizani!

Dance like my servant David did
being at the top like Cream rally up your (BMF) Squad
in praise;this is not for show
That you should throw your life away like Dice:
You are praise Igniterz,
Saintz called to be the Stomperz over what's evil!!!

To batoto ba Uganda,
masela wa Tanzania
and my children in the Diaspora,
You are still mine na nitawabeba,
As you are God's Image
And from evil you made an Exodus..
Keep on keeping on
And surely I shall confess you
to watoto wangu..si wa Mchungaji tu!
Sing along to the beautiful Carols
As you Chase the wrongs away
Ensuring that Milele he light shines!

Before I go,
Remember I'm always ready to receive your call
As your ever present Ebenezer, now mpaka Milele
To help you let him go and avoid muhadhara.
As the church, you are my Mke Mwema
Na nitakubeba that day on our wedding day
when I come back from my Father
To take you into the mansion I'm preparing for you!
Love you always.
Christ!

Wa Wa its unbelievably you got most of the predictions wrong LOL.Anyway that aside Gospel artistes in Kenya did a tremendous job this past year.You\\\'ve done us so proud Daddy Owen is just my guy he totally rocks!! i Don\\\'t know what happened to Mafathaz though?

I dont think Milele deserved to win the diaspora award at all i don\\\'t think they\\\'ve done anything this past year that deserved it and the others e.g Fred Obare are totally representing.

I feel so bad that Eunice Njeri didn\\\'t win the award for Best Female artist amybe next time she should mobilise her supporters and we\\\'ll be glad to ramp up the support for her she\\\'s definately worked the hardest.

Black man deserved that award kabisa.

I dont understand what the fuss about muhadhara is ?

Oh K-Krew i have no words for they are all about ministry and they show the rest you
