Rev Bii baptized Corban in St Paul’s ACK Langa’ta Barracks Church on 1st October 1989. His godparents were Mr. & Mrs. John Muia. He started participating in church activities at the age of 8 years in the Good News Club through singing and dancing. He joined Bible Club in 1997 and later St Paul’s youth in 2000. It was at this time that his gift of music was realized. He gave his life to Christ while in form three in 2003. Corban attended various churches and was called to minister through music. He was an active member of St. Paul’s Lang’ata Barracks, Mt. Zion Sanctuary, and PCEA among many others.

Corban lived a life of service to God in various ways. Among the different groups he interacted with, Corban proved to be a leader and spiritual guide. When among children he gave a word. Among his age mates, he proved a role model and even the old got spiritual nourishment from one so very young. His passion for God was captured in his desire to sing praise to Him. All Corban wanted to do was sing. Nothing else made sense to him. No amount of career counseling could sway him from his one desire. He wouldn’t let the stones do the singing!!!!

Corban started feeling unwell on 5th August but got better during the week. On Sunday morning he went to church as usual but as the day progressed he started experiencing stomach pains. He was left to rest at his friend’s house (Joseph Masaku/Daddy real). That evening Corban’s condition worsened and Masaku took him to Lang’ata Barracks Hospital (MRS). He was then transferred to Kenyatta National Hospital at 9pm.While receiving treatment that Corban was called to rest at about 12:45 am. Now Corban is with the one he so faithfully and selflessly served.
We send our heartfelt condolences to the family and friends of Corban.

My heart breaks to pieces, as a gospel artist I cry...... I also realise that my turn may come any time, as I serve God, I make sure am ready to meet Him. I make sure that heaven from whence I came from is proud of me and I will be welcome. I strive to live and walk in holiness , because without holiness NO ONE CAN SEE GOD NO MATTER WHOM YOU ARE. I celebrate you Corban, I will see you in Heaven. I promise.

We thank God for how much he blessed so many lives, we are saddened that God called him for the huge meeting at this time but we know that he is enjoying himself, we all in the Kenyan community around the world should keep his bro and his whole family in prayers, we thank God for how much he prospered in the kingdom, his music still lives on, and we thank God for his life, this should help us realize that we never know when God will call us up for that big meeting. God bless. Stay breezy. -JMK

I knew you since we were kids and for the last 22 years we have always been together. To say I will miss you will be an understatement. I know you are in heaven smiling down upon us. Your testimony will be with us for a long time to come and we will always have you with us in the music you sang. Your life is an example and a challenge for the young people to live and even try to do more than you did. We will one day meet in eternity.

Kama, we grew up and went to the same sunday school at barracks and I was glad to know that even after I switched churches and went elsewhere, you still kept the faith and flame burning and served God selflessly.I attended the celebration of life at your funeral but from heaven I know you saw the young and old gathered together to celebrate you and the service you honoured Daddy with...rest in peace knowing that you made a difference in this world and gave us a reason to smile as you spread love

You represented the one who created you in the best way you could and in this life we will forever remember you as you continue with the great commission thru the music you left behind. You were truly dedicated to our Lord. We will miss you dearly.
