Kenyan Artistes have been invited to submit their works for the 2008 Caribbean Gospel Music Marlin Awards. Xii Entertainment and Marlin Awards have teamed up to nominate an African Artiste for the Marlin Awards. Any artiste with a single or an album can participate. However, you must send in 10 copies of the album or single and they must be professionally packaged; either sealed or shrink-wrapped and they will not accept burn CDs. You can also enter your Music Video where you are required to send 2 DVDs clearly labelled. The deadline has been extended to the end of January 2008 and all entries should be submitted to Xii Entertainment, Nairobi. Please call their hotlines 0723547645 / 0721531717 / 607150 to arrange a drop-off. In June 2007, Zaidi ya Mziki won theInternational Artiste of the Year at the Newsome Awards in Baltimore, MD.
