Describing herself as "not your ordinary girl" Jaya believes that there is that special thing inside of her. Too special to be kept to herself she is passionately driven to share it with the world through her music. At under 20 years old, Jaya admits to having had her fair share of experiences, but her greatest joy to date is finding Jesus Christ and beginning to develop a deep and profound relationship with HIm. There's not turning back this DIva in the making - purposeful accomplishment is her mission.
Msamaha is a Swahili word meaning forgiveness. Inspired by both God and her mother. Jaya wrote this song on realization the true inner joy is not found when we block out/suppress emotions and experiences that bring us sadness in pretense that all is well. Instead by getting rid of our inhibitions and freeing our hearts peace and inner joy is achieved. She has found her purpose in life and is ready to be the fearless influencer of society that she was created to be, by doing that which she was created to do.

Jaya... you are going far... very far... this song production wise, vocally is amazing. But above that there is something in it that just makes me listen to it over and over and over and over... and that is the thing that will take you far!
