Background.
I was born on the 21st day of February and I am the 4th born in a family of five. I am the only boy but I am not spoilt&&

My passion for music begun when I was in primary school and this influenced a lot on the selection of which high school I wanted to go to. I chose Starehe boys center and Dagoretti high school not solely because of their performance but because they had great brass bands that I admired and dreamt of joining. I was given a place at Dagoretti high school and immediately joined the band which I was a member of until I cleared school. I was awarded a certificate of merit by the school for being the best in trombone among other certificates. This is where my love and creativity for music grew and got engraved in my heart. After I cleared school I ventured into the Djing world which Im part of till date.

Salvation.
I accepted Christ into my heart on my second day in high school (10th Feb 1996) and though with many ups and downs in my Christian walk I still profess Christ to be my Lord and Savior. My salvation and the Djing I do are very much related because before I got saved, I used to love secular music and it was bringing me down time and time again. I love saying that God is using what would have brought me down, to glorify himself through me and to raise me up.

Experiences.

DJ Soxxy

My greatest and most humbling experience was when I spinned infront of the former president of Kenya, His Excellency Daniel. T. Arap Moi. I couldnt imagine what I was doing because of the excitement I had. This happened at Kabarak University where I had been invited for their weekend challenge and after the event he walked up to me and told me that I had done an impressive job. This was a very humbling experience and it was nothing short of Gods favor.

Tours.
I have toured quite a number of Towns here in Kenya that is Nakuru, Eldoret, Kisumu, Kericho, Mombasa just to mention but a few and have also crossed over to Kampala, Uganda in Ministry outreach.

Shows.
The very first show I did was dubbed Bash of the Clouds which was at St. Andrews church. It was at this gig that I had my hands on the Dj gear for the first time thus had to be shown how to use it. This was an awesome, incredible experience that opened doors to
other gigs.

Inspiration.
My inspiration comes from the fact that God has great plans for me no matter the circumstances Im faced with at any one moment. To echo that, my favorite scripture - Jer : 29:11 For I know the plans I have for you. Plans to prosper you and not to fail you. Plans to give you hope and a future. - gives me great encouragement to keep glorifying his name.
Ive also been inspired greatly by Dj Moz, Dj Kev and Dj Josh reason being they believed in me, encouraged me and offered platforms for me to spin. Dj Moz is particularly instrumental in me being who I am today and I very much look up to him.

Awards/Nominations.

I was awarded the Samaritan Award of the year at the Groove Awards 2005 which was held at the KICC. Its an award that humbled me immensely since its an award that meant that I had great impact in many peoples lives&

Ambitions.
My ambition is to own a Radio station that will be of great influence to its listeners offering nothing but the best in Gospel Music, Gospel truth, realistic issues that people will identify with and generally creating spiritual awareness. I also aspire to gain International recognition based on my Djing skills and on Christ Jesus whom I represent to the fullest.

In the next five years I wish to have accomplished various things; to have done a couple of international shows, to have ventured into the Production field and most of all to have a wife.

Challenges.
Generally the challenge Ive experienced, is the negative attitude the old generation has towards Djs. Theres no seriousness in what we do according to them. They seem to think its a matter of mere entertainment where we bring the world to the church and are fixed to the status quo of hymns.

I have seen many live come to Christ through my ministry and thus do not take it for granted that this is what I do as a ministry to reach out to young guys with the gospel of Jesus Christ.
